Alaska's Wild Sky

Step beneath the dome for our premier live-guided planetarium experience. Alaska’s Wild Skies: Live brings the human element back to stargazing, weaving together timeless constellation lore, practical guides to tonight’s local sky, and breaking discoveries from deep space. Guided in real time by our Planetarium Director, Omega Smith, no two performances are ever identical.

Because the cosmos is constantly in motion, our program changes with it. Every month brings a completely original theme, giving you a brand-new reason to step out of the cold and under the stars. From seasonal shifts and high-latitude aurora guides to deep-space mysteries and ancient mythological sagas, Alaska's Wild Skies offers a fresh, interactive voyage through the universe all year long.
