ASCEND Hub - Bridging the Gap for Biomedical Researchers

is hosting a multi-site training program for a limited number of biomedical researchers noon – 2 p.m. every Wednesday in July beginning with July 8.
The ASCEND (Accelerating Solutions for Commercialization and Entrepreneurial Development) Hub is an NIH-funded regional technology transfer accelerator hub for the seven Mountain West States: Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico and Wyoming.
The series will provide researchers with structured opportunities to learn, practice and apply key skills in the commercialization process. The skills covered include:
- Entrepreneurial self-assessment
- Intellectual property overview,
- Capital-raising skills
- Collaboration, networking, and marketing best practices
- Elevator pitch development
