The annual professional development workshop, "IGNITE: Individual Growth and New Ideas Through EPSCoR/INBRE," will take place on Jan. 7, 2026, at the BP Energy Center in Anchorage, hosted by Alaska EPSCoR and Alaska INBRE.

IGNITE 2026 offers a full day of professional development training for faculty, students, and staff. The workshop includes the keynote speaker, University of Alaska Anchorage professor Jessica Ross, presenting on Indigenizing research, University of Alaska Anchorage professor Kenrick Mock, presenting on artificial intelligence for a lunch plenary session, and three targeted session tracks, each tailored to meet the needs of faculty and researchers, students, and staff.

Limited travel funding is available for those traveling to Anchorage to attend. Register for the workshop and apply for travel funding within the registration form by Nov. 19, 2025, to be considered for travel funding.
