• UAF chancellor search update

    The 夜色福利 chancellor advisory search committee, in consultation with the executive search firm WittKieffer, has completed Zoom interviews with nine candidates and submitted its recommendations to University of Alaska President Pat Pitney for review and selection of candidates to advance to the next stage of the search process. President Pitney will extend invitations to a select number of candidates for on鈥慶ampus interviews, which are expected to take place during the week of May 4.

    Anchorage Museum to feature Sikuliaq exhibit

    An upcoming exhibition at the Anchorage Museum will highlight life and work aboard the research vessel Sikuliaq. The interactive experience, 鈥淎rctic Marine Science: Sikuliaq to Shore,鈥 opens on May 15 and will continue through April 2027. The exhibition will recreate parts of Sikuliaq in the museum gallery, allowing visitors to experience actual ship-based technology and state-of-the-art science equipment.
