Career Services announces Career Fair Week

Feb. 9, 2026,

UAF Career Services is excited to announce Career Fair Week! This is our premier networking event of the semester, bringing more than 70 employers to campus to connect with our talented Nanooks. Whether you are a student looking for a dream job or internship, a faculty member encouraging your students’ professional growth, or a staff member supporting student success, we invite you to be part of the energy!

Event Schedule

  • Engineering Career Fair - Tuesday, Feb. 17, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Wood Center
  • Job and Internship Fair - Thursday, Feb. 19, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Wood Center

Join the team: Volunteers needed!

These events are a massive undertaking, and we couldn’t do it without our incredible community. We are looking for volunteers to help welcome employers and keep the day running smoothly. It’s a great way to network and support our students' professional journeys!

Interested in helping? Please reach out to April Jaillet at aejaillet@alaska.edu.

Faculty and staff: How you can help

  • Spread the word: Mention the fairs in your upcoming classes or department meetings.
  • Encourage preparation: Remind students to polish their resumes and bring their Nanook spirit! Career Services offers drop-in hours to assist with resumes, cover letters, and professional dress, or students can make appointments through Nanook Navigator.

We look forward to seeing the UAF community come together to help our students take the next step in their careers!
