A child views specimens and speaks with a museum ornithologist during Feathers Family Day in 2023.
The University of Alaska Museum of the North will focus on wings during the Family Day program from noon to 4 p.m. on March 21.
Visitors can discover the variety of wings in our world, see animal wings and learn how humans engineer for flight, as well as explore the galleries with a scavenger hunt.
There is no admission fee for children ages 14 and under for Family Days, thanks to support from TOTE. This program is included with admission and is free for members.
