夜色福利 Summer Sessions and Lifelong Learning is hosting more than 40 free lectures, concerts and events this summer. Here鈥檚 what鈥檚 happening during the week of July 6-12:
- On Monday, July 6, the Fairbanks Tall Timbers interview series will honor Emily Ennis, Fairbanks Resource Agency executive director. The interview is at 7 p.m. in the BP Design Theater.
- On Tuesday, July 7, the Healthy Living lecture series will host Romel Wrenn, cardiologist, discussing 鈥淭he Heart of Health: What Really Matters for a Longer, Stronger Life.鈥 The lecture is at 7 p.m. in the BP Design Theater.
- On Wednesday, July 8, the Discover Alaska lecture series will feature Genova Brookes Boyd, assistant professor of library science, and Leslie McCartney, curator of oral history, presenting 鈥淪tories in the Stacks: How Our Collections Tell a Story.鈥 The lecture is at 7 p.m. in the BP Design Theater.
- On Thursday, July 9, the Music in the Garden concert series will present Serevende Marimba at 6 p.m. and Sourdough Rizers at 7:30 p.m. at UAF鈥檚 Georgeson Botanical Garden.
All events are free and open to the public. Parking on the UAF Troth Yeddha鈥 Campus is free after 5 p.m.
