Winter clothing and craft supply drive

Help UAF students stay warm and find creative ways to enjoy the upcoming winter by donating winter clothing and craft supplies to the Office of Sustainability through Sept. 29.
The Office of Sustainability is collecting gently used winter clothing for a FreeStore pop-up on Sept. 30. Items needed include coats, boots, sweaters, hats, gloves, mittens and other warm winter items.
The office is also collecting craft supplies for the Upcycle Annex, a repair cafe and makerspace focused on repairing and upcycling items using donated and leftover craft materials. Needed items include beading and jewelry-making supplies and tools, scrapbooking and card-making supplies and tools, ribbon, art materials, wool craft supplies, yarn and larger pieces or bolts of fabric. All craft and repair materials are welcome.
Items can be dropped off at the Office of Sustainability in Room 101K of the Wood Center.
Together, these donations will help students stay warm, creative and connected throughout the winter while supporting reuse and sustainability across campus.
