April 21 Trailblazer Recognition Ceremony: Celebrating First-Generation Students
We are celebrating the achievement of students who are the first in their families
to complete their post-secondary education! Please join us at a ceremony honoring
first‑gen students and their families. At the ceremony, students will receive honor
cords to wear during UAF’s commencement to signify that they are the first in their
family to graduate with post-secondary credentials.
This Trailblazer Recognition Ceremony will celebrate first-gen students who are receiving
two-year associates, one-year certificates and occupational endorsements.
This ceremony will also be live-streamed at Tune in at 6pm on April 21!
