National Tutor Appreciation Week
This week is National Tutor Appreciation Week! The at CTC’s downtown location has several tutors on staff to help students with all
their math and writing needs, both online and in-person. In person, students can visit
the Debbie Moses Learning Center in Room 120 at UAF Community Technical College, which
provides educational support and services to students in a friendly and welcoming
environment and is a useful resource for both college and high school students to
seek tutoring in writing and math. The center provides group and quiet study areas,
a Math Lab and Writing Center with tutoring assistance, and many additional services
to help increase math and language skills.
This year and last year, our CTC Learning Center math and writing tutors have worked
hard to provide support to our students both online and in-person as they navigated
new technology and ways to reach out to as many students as possible that needed assistance.
